About Us:

Operated by Coweta County, the newly renovated Tommy Thompson Center in Newnan, GA offers a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, fitness classes, educational programs, health and wellness presentations, health screenings, guest speakers, social specials and much more!  We do regular day trips as well as overnight and extended recreational trips.  **Please see monthly calendar for more information on current class schedules.
  

In addition, a nutritious lunch is provided at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday ($2 for members, $5 for guests). Click here for menu.

Membership:2

Membership fees are just $25 per year for Coweta County residents age 55+. Stop by the reception desk for full details! *No one is excluded for inability to pay. Complimentary memberships can be arranged for those that qualify.

Meals On Wheels (Home Delivered Meals):

We deliver meals to home bound seniors in our community. If you or someone you know needs meals delivered please call the Tommy Thompson Center or Three Rivers Area Agency on Aging at 678-552-2838 for more information.

Transportation:

Transportation services to and from the Center can also be provided at no cost for qualified individuals that reside in Coweta County.

Transportation vouchers are also available for County residents 60+ to other destinations such as grocery shopping, doctors appointments, etc.

Central Community Center 

65 Literary Lane, Sharpsburg
Offers a variety of recreational activities and services to all active adults aged 50 and older. They meet every Monday of the month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Activities include the following: arts & crafts, Bingo, stamping & card making, Bunco, covered dish luncheon, blood pressure check, and beading. Welcome Community Center
1792 Welcome Road, Newnan
Offers a variety of recreational activities and services to all active adults aged 50 and older. They meet every Tuesday of the month 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. . Activities include the following: arts & crafts, Bingo, stamping & card making, Bunco, covered dish luncheon, blood pressure check, and beading. Programs are funded by the Coweta County Commission. East Coweta Community Center
300 Howard Road, Senoia
Offers a variety of recreational activities and services to all active adults aged 50 and older. They meet every Wednesday of the month 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Activities include the following: arts & crafts, Bridge, Cribbage classes, Bingo, stamping & card making, covered dish luncheon, blood pressure check, musical entertainment and informational speakers. Panther Creek Community Center
2285 W. Highway 16, Sargent
Offers a variety of recreational activities and services to all active adults aged 50 and older. They meet every Thursday of the month from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Activities include the following: arts & crafts, Bingo, stamping & card making, knitting, covered dish luncheon, quilting, crocheting, blood pressure check, and macramé.
