A SEVEN SESSION ACADEMY LOOKING AT VITAL ASPECTS OF YOUR COUNTY GOVERNMENT
We know you have questions about what your County does and why things happen the way they do.
That is why we created the Coweta Citizen Academy.
The Academy is a group of 30 citizens selected on a first-come-first-served basis (divided equally among the County's five districts), that is, six applicants are selected from each district.
Each session lasts 2 1/2 hours (5:30p - 8p) which includes a light dinner (5:30) followed by the presentations (6-8). (NEW FOR 2020) Sessions will be held weekly (sessions had been biweekly).
Each session provides for a lively exchange between staff members and citizens. County Administrator Michael Fouts is also on hand at each session.
We currently look at some 20 areas of County operations over the seven sessions.
Registration for the Spring 2020 Academy will be announced later this year.
See you at the next Citizen Academy!
