These matters are set for hearings in the Juvenile Court of Coweta County. Rule 12.2 of the Uniform Rules of Juvenile Court allows hearings to be conducted by video conferencing; and in response to the public health concerns from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia entered an Order Declaring Statewide Judicial Emergency on March 14, 2020, as extended and amended, (the "Emergency Order") which provides that, "[t]o the extent court proceedings are held, they should be done in a manner to limit the risk of exposure, such as by videoconferencing, where possible";

All parties, counsel, and witnesses shall appear for these Hearings via video conference on the date and time specified. The Hearings shall be conducted using the ZOOM video-conferencing application. All parties will contact the Clerk of this Court to obtain a link to join the video conference before the date and time listed. If a party cannot appear by video or has difficulty with connectivity, the party will be allowed access to participate in all parts by appearing at the Juvenile  Court of Coweta County at least 15 minutes before the Hearing time where they may participate through a computer and monitor set for access to the video hearing.
