Frosty & Friends

Students will be instructed in sketching a snowman and reindeer. Designing the hat and scarf will help students to understand the 4 Basic Lines of sketching. They will be given a choice of which character to paint onto canvas.

In addition, students will explore a variety of mediums (acrylic, paints, chalk pastels, ink washes on tin foil) as we construct other Christmas artwork and ornaments.

Each student should be able to complete one (1) canvas panel painting, one (1) tin foil Christmas art piece (tree or nutcracker), and at least two (2) original painted ornaments (All dependent on student abilities and time management).

Christmas Tea with Santa

Students will be instructed in sketching a teacup & saucer and Santa face. The 4 Basic Lines of sketching will be taught and reiterated throughout the sketching exercises. We will add color to our sketches and will complete a watercolor sketch of Santa.

We will also craft a Christmas placemat and a simple Christmas ornament (Only if time permits. If not, crafts will be sent home with student).

In addition, students will have the opportunity to complete a Letter to Santa and give it to him as he joins the camp during the last 2 hours for a Christmas Tea Party. Photos will be taken with Santa during the last 30 minutes of camp. 

Each student should be able to complete one (1) watercolor painting of Santa and one (1) Letter to Santa. Copies of Letters will be sent home for parents.

Christmas at Madras 2025

Join us at the 5th Annual Christmas at Madras this holiday season! This enchanting experience offers families the perfect opportunity to capture heartwarming photos with Santa Claus himself in a festive, holiday-themed setting. Following pictures, families will receive goody bags with fun crafts and games to participate in while indulging in a donut breakfast and refreshments.

Grantville Branch Public Library Librarians will read a Christmas story to families to close out the event. You even have the opportunity to write a letter to Santa and receive one back before Christmas Day!

One (1) printed photo per family. All other photos to be shared via the email on file the week following the event.

Paws and Claus 2025

Join us for the 4th Annual Paws & Claus Pet Picture Christmas Event this December in partnership with and benefitting Coweta County Animal Services!

Bring your furry friends to create unforgettable memories as you pose with jolly old Saint Nick in front of the beautifully decorated tree. A photographer will be present to capture the magic as your furry friend sits on Santa's lap!

Coweta County Animal Services: This event was created in 2022 to benefit Animal Services and support their efforts to place as many homeless and abandoned animals as possible with loving families.
