As a direct youth representative of Coweta County Fire Rescue, our mission is to provide the highest level of training possible for 14 to 17-year-old students.

Our training is meant to introduce what being a Fire/Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is all about. It's not meant to be easy, it's meant to be worth it.

What is the program?

Coweta County Fire Explorers Post 700 provides high school students ages 14-17 a challenging and educational opportunity to learn more about Fire/EMS and see if a career in Fire/EMS is right for them.

Training topics include:

Fire suppression/hose advancement
Search and rescue
Forcible entry
Crash victim extrication
Fire ground hydraulics
Physical training
EMS
Public speaking and much more
