The Facilities Management Department is responsible for keeping the County's facilities running smoothly. Their work includes maintenance tasks that cover both repairs and the routine servicing of equipment and infrastructure. They also manage custodial services, ensuring every area remains clean, safe, and presentable for everyday use.

Ground maintenance is also an essential aspect of their duties. This work involves caring for outdoor spaces through landscaping, lawn care and maintaining general cleanliness, all to create an inviting environment for employees and visitors. In addition, the department oversees various construction projects, from building recreational restrooms to expanding jail facilities.

The team oversees 1,278,355 square feet across 153 buildings and 190 sites spread over 441 square miles.
