Meet Fire Chief Robby Flanagan
Robby Flanagan was named the Coweta County Fire Rescue (CCFR) Fire Chief in 2021. He began his career with the department in 1996 as a firefighter and worked his way up through the ranks, serving as an EMT, Paramedic, Captain, Special Operations Captain, Battalion Chief and Shift Commander before assuming his current role.
Chief Flanagan is committed to growing the department's emergency response and all-hazard capabilities while helping to create future leaders. He is also committed to expanding the fire department's current strengths and leaving behind a lasting legacy that ensures Coweta County continues to receive high-quality fire and emergency services.
A Newnan native, Flanagan is a graduate of Newnan High School. He and his wife, Dawn, have been married for more than 20 years and have two daughters.
