Important Dates

Mark your calendar! Below are the key dates to know if you plan to vote by absentee ballot for the May 19, 2026 General Primary and Non-Partisan General Election.

  • March 2, 2026 - Applications open to request an absentee ballot by mail
  • April 20, 2026 - First day non-UOCAVA
  • May 8, 2026 - Deadline to submit an application for an absentee by mail

Planning ahead helps ensure your vote is counted. If you plan to vote absentee, be sure to submit your application as soon as it opens and do NOT wait until the last minute.

Early Voting Notice

Early voting for the May 19, 2026 General Primary and Non-Partisan General Election will be April 27, 2026 until May 15, 2026, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Early Voting will also be available two Saturdays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Saturday, May 2, 2026
  • Saturday, May 9, 2026

There are two early voting locations in Coweta County:

  • The Coweta County Elections and Voter Registration Office (87 Newnan Station Drive Newnan, Georgia 30265)
  • The Eastside Community Center (65 Literary Lane Newnan, GA 30265)
