This map depicts current land uses within Coweta County. Tax Parcels are utilized in this map rather than Block Groups. The data is based on the current records of the Coweta County GIS department.

There are six major categories of land use within the County: Commercial, Industrial, Open Land, Public/Institutional, Residential, and Transportation. Each category then has their own sub-classification based on a more specific definition of the land usage or whether the land is currently under construction, undeveloped, or vacant. Most land coverage in the County is agricultural/forestry, which is a parcel of 10 acres or more with no structures built on it.
