The Comprehensive Plan is the community’s strategic vision. It guides rezoning and infrastructure investments by the Board of Commissioners and County staff.
The Comprehensive Plan provides a 20-year outlook for Coweta County and creates a vision to facilitate goals and policies that lay the foundation for the community-based work program. Overall, it helps create a strong and vibrant county.
The Comprehensive Plan will also undergo an update to its Transportation Element, allowing for a broader look at Coweta County and creating a long-range vision for how transportation, land use, housing, economic development and community facilities all fit together.
