Coweta County Code Enforcement works to enforce the Code of Ordinances that have been enacted by the Coweta County Commission.
These codes range from building regulations and zoning restrictions to sign ordinances and solid waste providers.
- Code Enforcement officers spend most of their day out and about in the county, investigating issues of concern, so calls and e-mails are generally returned in the early morning and late afternoon.
- Please keep in mind the differences between personal opinions and code violations. In order for a code violation to exist, there must be a definite violation of Coweta County codes.
- All complaints received by the Code Enforcement Department are subject to The Freedom of Information Act records requests
- All complaints received by the Code Enforcement division are subject to disclosure in accordance with State law (Open Records Act).
