The U.S. Treasury allocated $350 billion as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) for eligible state and local governments to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Treasury, the resources are designed “to help turn the tide on the pandemic, address its economic fallout, and lay the foundation for a strong and equitable recovery.”

Coweta County received $28,846,132 in ARPA funds. All funds must be spent by December 31, 2026.
