To further enhance the safety and security of our visitors, staff, and elected officials, Coweta County is implementing a screening process that includes a metal detector and deputy at the entrance of 37 Perry Street.

Effective immediately, citizens and guests at the Board of Commissioner meetings will be screened for weapons upon entry. The screening process will be conducted by Coweta County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and is designed to be quick, respectful, and minimally disruptive.

As always, our goal is to maintain a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for everyone who enters our facility.
