The Coweta County School System outperformed the state of Georgia overall on all grades and subjects tested by the Georgia Criterion Reference Competency Test (CRCT) in 2014. The CRCT measures student mastery of the state of Georgia’s basic curriculum in the subjects of reading, English/language arts, math, science and social studies in grades 3 through 8. In all, the 2014 CRCT covers 30 areas (five subjects tested in six grades) taken by students during the 2013-14 school year.
