At the March 21st meeting, the Coweta County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the needed paperwork to begin revaluation of approximately 54,000 residential and agricultural parcels.
Early Voting for the March 21, 2017 special election runs Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.'til 4:30 p.m. through Friday, March 17, 2017. There will be one Saturday during early voting for the March 21, 2017 election and that is March 11, 2017. Hours: 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Early voting is available at two locations: the Voter Registration office, 22 East Broad Street, and the East Side Advance Voting Site, 65 Literary Lane.

The Coweta County Board of Commissioners has elected to sell 5 surplus properties acquired by virtue of tax deed for failure to pay taxes. The County has held some of these surplus properties for more than 10 years. It has determined that it is in the best interests of the citizens to sell the properties in a timely manner to return them to private citizens and back on the tax digest.
