Drug use is an insidious problem in our community. It can lead to repeated criminal offenses, with the costs passed on to taxpayers as these individuals are incarcerated again and again. The Coweta County Adult Drug Court seeks to help its participants maintain sobriety, with multiple interventions designed to help individuals stay on the right path.

Drug Court participants are drug tested three times a week, receive counseling, therapy, and proper medical treatment. At times, the entire family is involved. We work with them on basic life skills, such as: High School Diploma, further educational needs, skill training, communication training, computer training, resumes, employment opportunities, monthly budgeting, future finances, credit clean-up, housing, food, and clothing, to name a few.

Our counseling service, Grace Harbour, works with individuals through counseling and therapy, not only on an individual basis, but also through group and family needs. Grace Harbour works with participants for addiction services and mental health services.

The Coweta County Drug Court Program is designed to offer sentencing alternatives for defendants whose offenses are related to their addictions. This program serves a limited number of defendants and is therefore very select in choosing participants. If you believe you might be a good candidate, please see the application.
